Konibn 15 piece Guitar Luthier set

You’ve got a guitar, you’ve got an amp, and you’ve got a cable, but are you truly, honestly ready to rock? I don’t think so, especially if your guitar is an inexpensive model, there’s work to be done and for that, a few handy luthier’s tools would come in handy. I’m not saying that you need to become a full-on guitar tech, no, what I am saying is that you might need to do a setup on the guitar, which might include; cleaning up the frets, tuning, intonation, setting up your string radius, fixing the height of your strings, maybe sanding down the neck etcetera.

A basic set of luthier’s tools will help with most of that, aside from the extra fine 0000 steel wool and tuner and this kit has the rest covered. This is the KONIBN 15 Pieces Guitar Luthier Tools Set and honestly, it packs a lot of goodies for a minimal price. This handy kit comes with;

  • 32 Blades Steel Feeler Gauge Dual
  • 9 Understring Radius Gauges
  • 1 String Action Gauge Ruler
  • 2 Fingerboard Guards
  • 1 Grinding Stone
  • A super sexy black velvet bag (Everything fits inside of it, like Paris Hilton)

Now, this kit is by far not a complete kit, you’ll want to pick up a neck brace, some fret oil, a microfiber cloth, a string winder, and a few odds and ends in the future as well, but this will certainly get you started in caring for your new guitar addiction. Now, I’m no guitar Alberta Eisenstein, but I quickly figured out how all of this works in minutes and have amazing-sounding string instruments, even though they are budget oriented. Even if your favorite hat says “dunce,” on it, YouTube has a ton of video tutorials on using these tools and will get you up and running in no time.

All of the metal components are stainless steel and feature rounded edges, so you won’t cut yourself up while sharpening your axe. The radius gauges are a set of 9 including: 7.25″, 9.5″, 10″, 12″, 14″, 15″, 16″, 17″ and 20″ size radius. The feeler gauge has 32 pieces and has measurements from 0.0015 inches (0.038 mm) to 0.035 inches (0.889 mm). If all of this means nothing to you, just trust me that these tools will serve you well for guitar or bass and probably even your little sister’s Hello Kitty Ukele!
