You’ve got a guitar, you’ve got an amp, and you’ve got a cable, but are you truly, honestly ready to rock? I’m not saying that you need to become a full-on guitar tech, no, what I am saying is that you might need to do a setup on the guitar, which might include; cleaning up the frets, tuning, intonation, setting up your string radius, fixing the height of your strings, maybe sanding down the neck etcetera.
