Traditional hand poke tattooing has my heart and soul, but to better understand my craft from all angles and aspects, I find it is important to study it from such. Lily Liu/Lu aka Little Swastika the famous body mod artist and filmmaker, who initially taught me hand poke tattooing, I will be learning modern machine tattooing as the next step in my growth. Machine tattooing is where I began my journey, apprenticing under my now ex-wife many years ago.
I am extremely excited to see what I learn and to see where this venture will take me in my craft, as I go from a hand poke tattooer to an overall complete tattoo artist, in multiple modalities. I can never thank Lily enough for all they do for the body modification scene and tattoo artists, like myself, their works have inspired us and their teachings pass through us minus the gatekeeping often found in tattooing!
So this is the new step I am currently working on…
